Welcome to Mölle Golf Club

You will never regret playing Mölle.

Mölle Golf Club is one of Sweden’s oldest and most classic courses, in addition to being known as one of the most beautiful. Few Swedish courses, and European too for that matter, can compare to Mölle when it comes to outstanding scenery. The course’s 18 holes are placed in Kullaberg’s nature’s reserve some 35 kilometres north of Helsingborg on the southern Swedish west coast. The surroundings are a popular destination with several thousand visitors annually, particularly during summer months.

A round at Mölle is a truly unique experience which starts already as you enter the quaint village by the sea – a former fishing village built on the cliffs that surround what today is a small harbour complete with popular restaurants and bars. Its population is a mix of year-round locals and summer guests. “The sin in Mölle” is a well-known expression that dates to the days when this village, as one of the first places in Europe, allowed men and women to swim and sunbathe together, all properly dressed in particular striped outfits covering most of their bodies.

As you drive uphill on the road between the village and the golf course, named “the Italian road” after the breath-taking views found around the Mediterranean Sea, your senses will tell you that this will be an experience like no other. The road meanders through a majestic forest of beech trees surrounded by steep cliffs and a sometimes-rough sea. The road ends at the Kullaberg light house, which is Sweden’s oldest. But just before you arrive there, you will pass – and hopefully stop – at our golf course and Kullagården’s Wärdshus, a true institution for food and accommodation with a history dating back to the 16th century. This Tudor style building is also our club house, and we are quite sure that you will fall for its charm and all it has to offer.

Our course was planned and developed by course architect Ture Bruce in 1943 and the club itself founded while the second world war was still raging on the European continent. The original course had 12 holes and was inaugurated by Sweden’s then crown prince Gustav Adolf, who later became the country’s king. Another 6 holes were added in 1958.

To get to us requires a tiny detour. But those that have played Mölle almost always return. In 2021, one of our guest players assured us that Mölle was the most enjoyable course he had played outside of the British Isles. We understand what he means. So will you.

The course

Mölle golf course is not the longest you will have played. Instead, it will challenge your mind and require good wrist control. And if you do not command that control, you will have a great and memorable time anyway. For instance, we can guarantee that the spectacular views will take your breath away. At the top of our mountain and from almost all holes you will look across Kattegatt and Öresund in the North Sea towards Denmark and while playing our most Northern holes you might spot the peninsula of Bjäre on the other side of the bay of Skälderviken.
